Samguk Yusa,

1280'li yıllarda derlenildiğine, en eski yayınının ise 1512'de gerçekleştiğine inanılmaktadır. 

Üç Kore Krallığı dönemi öncesine ait efsaneler, tarihi olaylar ve hikayelerden oluşur. Dangun efsanesi hakkında en eski belgedir.

Samguk Sagi, Üç Krallık olan Silla Goryeo ve Baekje'nin tarihsel bir kaydıdır. Kitap Klasik Çince ile yazılmıştır. Goryeo kralı Injong tarafından derlemesi emredilmiş olup hükümette görev yapan ve aynı zamanda tarihçi olan Kim Busik ve genç akademisyenlerden oluşan bir ekip tarafından hazırlanmıştır. 1145 yılında tamamlanmış olup Kore tarihinin en eski tarih kroniği olarak bilinmektedir.

Samguk Yusa,

It is believed to have been compiled in the 1280s, while its earliest publication took place in 1512. 

It consists of Legends, historical events and stories from before the three Korean Kingdoms period. It is the oldest document on The Legend of Dangun.

The Samguk Sagi is a historical record of the Three Kingdoms, Silla Goryeo and Baekje. The book is written in Classical Chinese. It was ordered to be compiled by King Injong of Goryeo and prepared by Kim Busik, who served in the government and was also a historian, and a team of young scholars. It was completed in 1145 and is known as the oldest Chronicle of Korean history.
